When I was young and naive, I would post my email address freely on the
web. So today my mailbox is clogged with spam. I receive about 10 real email
messages per day, and over 200 junk emails. And it keeps getting worse.
Something had to be done.
Since mailforms are not an option for me, for various technical reasons, the
only thing left to me is to display my email address in a format that is
(hopefully) only readable to human eyes and not to the automatic email
address harvester that spammers use to collect addresses. The weird colors,
fonts, positions and patterns are an attempt to foil OCR software. For the
visually impaired I have included an audio version of the address. In other
words, if must verify that you're a human and not a spam robot sent after
my address.
Again I apologize for the inconvenience. This nonsense must be stopped. Please
help us to stamp out spam!
